How to Unlock User Accounts

Overview

When a user has tried to login with the incorrect password more than 3 times, they will be locked out of the system. These are the steps that you should take when a user reports that they have been locked out.

Important Note

  • If your account is locked, please contact your System Administrator to unlock it for you.
  • Candidates are not locked out of their account by typing their password too many times. This only affects users listed under Employees.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Employees

  2. Click on the Employee who is locked out
    locked_out.png
  3. Select Unlock Account
    unlock_account.png

  4. The user account is unlocked
