Create and Use Email Templates

Overview

Email Templates send a consistent communication to your candidates.

Instructions

  1.  Navigate to Email
  2. Fill in fields

    • Subject: Create a subject heading
    • Insert Field: Place mail merge fields into email
      • Note: If you use #JobTitle# mail-merge field, you will want to Align the email to a requisition.
    • Body: Draft the content of the email
  3. Click Create Template

  4. Enter Template Name

  5. Select Save

  6. To use a template, select a template from the drop-down list

  7. Click Load Template to use a template

  8. Template will auto-fill; select recipients

    • Note: You can use Send On to select a future date to send the email. Leave this field blank if you want the email to send immediately. 
  9. Click Preview & Send

  10. Review the email information

  11. Click Send E-Mail
