Make External Job Applications Available

Overview 

There may be instances where you would like to advertise a requisition or job posting using CivicHR but do not want to collect applications. For instance, if you are using a third party to source applications, using a state-based merit system, need to collect a testing fee first, or candidates need to finish a testing process before applying, it may not be helpful to collect applications directly. You can turn on a setting that allows you to have your Apply Now button redirect to a link outside of CivicHR. This setting allows you to override the Apply Now button on a per requisition basis.

  

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the User Menu > Candidate Management
    user profile drop-down menu, candidate management
  2. Select Settings from the left-hand menu
    left-hand menu, settings tab
  3. Select Configuration
    settings management, configuration tab
  4. Select Client Settings
    client settings tab
  5. Check the Job Requisition External Apply Available? box
    job requisitions external apply available checkbox
  6. Select Save Settings
    save settings button
