Overview
Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ) assesses whether a candidate meets the minimum. BMQ can be turned on in your settings.
For example:
- Question: How many years of experience do you have?
- Answer: Less than 1 year (worth 0 points)
- Answer: 2 to 3 years (worth 3 points and meets BMQ)
- Answer: 3 or more years (worth 5 points and meets BMQ)
If the candidate selects answer 2 or 3, they will meet the minimum qualifications and will receive a 1 out of 1. Therefore, it is possible to have a candidate that receives a 60% on their assessment score but get a perfect BMQ score.
BMQ is a great way to get a pool of eligible candidates. It can be used to quickly distinguish those that meet the requirements versus those who do not.
