Assign a Competency to a Job

This article will show you how to assign Competencies to a Job

The Library is where you can find the full list of your evaluation components categorized by sections. View our article Modify Sections and Descriptions to see how to modify settings.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Library
    add_new_library_competency_library.jpg
  2. Select the Initiative library category

  3. Select your desired Initiative category
    assign_a_competency_to_a_job_select_competency.jpg
  4. Select the Competency you want to add a sub-competency to
    assign_a_competency_to_a_job_select_competency_description.jpg
    • Note: The option to add sub-competencies will not appear unless Subcompetencies are turned on in your CivicHR system. Contact support for additional assistance.
  5. Navigate to the Competency Jobs tab

  6. Select a Job Title from the dropdown

  7. Click Assign Competency to Job

  8. View your assigned job(s) under Currently Assigned To
    assign_a_competency_to_a_job_currently_assigned_to.jpg
  9. Click Save Competency
    assign_a_competency_to_a_job_save_competency.jpg
